Les, LMT

Les LMT
Les intuitively discovered the power of human touch as a ten-year-old, using touch to help his frustrated mother put his baby brother down for his naps. His sojourn eventually led him to discover the world of professional touch, massage, healing, and connection. Massage therapy was the gateway that introduced him to a variety of healing modalities, not only on a table (Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy), but also on a mat (Thai), and in a warm pool of water (Watsu.)

Les incorporates modalities and philosophies from both the East (shiatsu, Thai, reflexology) and the West (trigger point therapy, Watsu), providing clients with a vast array of options that promote healing, relaxation, and inner peace.

Les studied at the International Professional School of Bodywork (IPSB) in San Diego, in their Master’s degree program in Somatic Studies. Besides the anatomical knowledge and technical skills accumulated, he took other courses that encompassed body, mind, and spirit, including Tai Chi, breathwork, body mechanics, intent, and focus. Licensed since 1993, his years of experience have produced, as one client wrote, “the most zen massage I’ve ever had.” Les passed the nationally recognized Massage & Bodywork Licensing Exam (MBLEx) and holds massage therapy licenses (LMT) in four different states, He holds a Master’s degree in Arts (M.A.), is a licensed massage therapist (LMT), and is a professional member in good standing with the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP). He is also a Registered Watsu Practitioner (RWP) with the Worldwide Aquatic Bodywork Association (WABA).
